Recently, the Fourth General Merit List for First Year Junior College candidates was released. It was expected that this 4th List will be the final merit list. However, thousands of students were left out in this round which means that the department needs to conduct the FYJC Special Round. Why Special Round?
It has been found that after the release of 4th Merit list, Thousands of seats are still vacant. That’s why the FYJC Special Round in 2019 will take place.

Expected Number of Students
A total of 81063 Students applied in the Fourth Round. Out of these Students, only 49062 Students got seats. So, around 32000 Students couldn’t grab a seat.
Deputy Director of Education, Mr. Rajendra Ahire told that A Special round of Admission will take place to accommodate remaining Students. He also told that Schedule (date) of FYJC Special Round will be shared by 10th August 2018.

UPDATE – FYJC Special Round Admission Starts Soon. Merit List to be released
The details regarding the Mumbai FYJC Special Round has been made public on 10th of August 2018.
So, all the students all advised to keep patience and wait till this date. once the Department releases the dates, we will share the schedule with your right here.
After the Fourth Round, the students are the parents were shocked to find out that they are left out. Many even protested. The Situation came under control after the Deputy Director made statement regarding Special Round of FYJC Admissions.
